THE CHALLENGE
 Veris office servers were aging and becoming difficult to use and expensive to maintain. Most Veris consultants work at clients sites or mobile offices, so having systems that work well no matter where you are is key. Veris needed a cost-effective way to standardize software, centralize information sharing, and improve communication.
THE APPROACH
Lightlever was engaged to analyze solutions for Veris and the winner was Office 365. Lightlever built a full Intranet in SharePoint. Using an interactive-build process, Veris key staff learned the tools organically. Formal training was included as part of the handover to Veris’ designated SharePoint administrators and lunchtime webinars were used to teach the users about the new Intranet, SharePoint, Office 2013, and Lync. Key features of the Veris Intranet include document management (with version control and OneDrive), templated project subsites, a project status form, and a timesheet tool that saves everyone time and increases accuracy every day.
